Sunny Saturday

Hey Puppies and People!!!
We know it has been FOREVER since we posted! WE finally had a sunny Saturday today and have been outside enjoying it! Mom and Dad brought us a gift from our grandpaw Jim, which was a joystick... it's a jerky treat that is like 3 feet long! We shared it outside on the deck this morning while Mom took out the flashy thing and took pictures. Of course, Marsh Man didn't like the camera and thought about going inside!
Opal thought the joystick was the best thing EVER!!!!

Maggie also enjoyed hers!!!

Joy sticks are awesome!! We hope we get more, but Mom and Dad said it makes us a little too gassy afterwards so it may be awhile before we get another one! We hope they forget soon!

Happy Blogaversary to Us!!!!!

Today we went to daycare, got baths, and then hung out with Mom and Dad in the mancave to celebrate our blogaversary! We were having so much fun that we almost forgot to actually blog!!! Whoops!!! So just before midnight, when it will no longer be our 1 year anniversary of blogging, we said... Mom take pictures so we can post!!!!
But 11:15 is kind of late for us so we are all trying to stay up and it isn't easy!

Did I mention we got new toys? We now have a monkey and a dragonfly-rope thingy to add to our collection! And we were so excited about our blogaversary that we didn't destroy them the first night we got them!!!!

But that could also be because we were really sleepy from daycare!!!

I mean... REALLY sleepy!!! Marshman was so sleepy that he let Mom take his picture. . . .

But how cute is Maggie in this picture??? Nothing like a sleepy BT!

Well, we are up super late for us, so we are going to actually go into our beds to sleep but hope everyone had a great Friday!

Softball Games!!!!

Dad's softball league started up again and so that means we get to go to games and watch and take in new sights!!!!
I just didn't understand why I wasn't allowed on the field. I could have caught those balls all night long!!!!!

And just so I haven't taken over the blog completely, I am attaching a video of Marshall and me running around in the grandparent's backyard!! We love going over there on Sundays and running around!!!! It's our favorite day of the week!

oh, one more thing... April 17th is a one year blogaversary!!!! So we will have to come up with something exciting to post about!!! Take note now Mom-- we don't want to miss it!!!!

UPDATE!!!!!!!

Boy have we been busy!!! We've been sooo busy that we have been really lazy about our blog posting! For that we are ashamed! But here are some videos and pictures of what we have been doing.
In early March, we had snow!!! So we got to run around and play in it. . . well, some of us did anyway! Maggie was NOT a big fan!! Anyway, we are going to be better about posting, but for now, here are some pretty snow pictures and two videos taken only 7 days apart!!!

Keep in mind we live in Alabama so it will probably be another 5 years before we see snow again!

Sunday Wanderings

On Sunday we went to our granparent's house and played in their backyard. They have an awesome backyard to run around in as you can see from these videos!!!!!

And as an extra treat, here is a video of us watching for Dad in the window!! Our number one job is guarding the house, but our second job is greeter, so here is an example of us doing our greeting duties:

Puppy-sitting and Couch hanging

We didn't mention this but about a week and a half ago, our pawrents totally ditched us to go to somebody's wedding.... what's up with that??? Anyway, our Uncle Chad puppy-sat us so it was totally fun and there was no vet involved so we weren't as mad at mom and dad as we usually are when they leave us! And Uncle Chad took pictures for us to put on our blog, but Mom's job is transferring the pictures from the camera to the computer and this time is took her A LONG TIME...... so we are just posting them now!

Anyway, here are the wonderful shots.... we hung out on the couch a lot while they were away: Did we mention Belle stayed with us too?

Did you notice we have three separate blankets for three separate dogs on the couch? It was way cool..... mom and dad never let us have that many blankets! They always steal one for themselves!

See how wild and crazy we are when the pawrents are away! :)

There are three dogs in the picture above, just in case you can't tell. One is a very stealthy blanket-hider-under!

And it might be this crazy faced pup right here! Maggie is so mean when she first wakes up! And she doesn't like being disturbed when she is napping, as you can see above!

Just to update a little more, these are some old pictures from when we visited Uncle Chad at his place (since he stayed with us while puppy-sitting!)

That chicken that Belle is hugging is the coolest chicken ever! Or i should say it was, because we are pretty sure it died during the puppy-sitting experience..... for some reason, Belle doesn't destroy every stuffie she touches! We are working on her stuffie-destroying skills every chance we get so that will probably change eventually.

And hey, it is the Marsh Man! I bet most of you who don't get to see us in the puppy flesh forgot he existed! He hates hates hates the camera, so we consider ourselves very lucky that Uncle Chad got this picture at his house. He doesn't look quite so freaked out as he normally does with a camera around!

And last, we had to include a picture of Mom getting one of the best things around: a kiss from Belle!!!!!! Hope everybody enjoyed the pics! We took some more this weekend at our grandpawrents house, so hopefully we will get those up soon!!!! (that means you Mom!)

Merry Belated Xmas and Happy New Year!!!!!!

Hey every pup!!! We know it has been a while since we posted but we have been busy enjoying the holidays and being very lazy about using the computer!!! But we have had a wonderful holiday!!! First of all, we want to thank every pup for all of those wonderful cards we got!!! Our parents got like 10 cards and we got somewhere around 60!!! We have been holding that over them this whole holiday season!!! Hee Hee.
They did however get us a bunch of kick ass toys to destroy!!! This is all that's left but there were about three times (three whole stockings worth) that many on Xmas morning!!!!!!

And we would like to display a beautiful picture of our sister/cousin Belle who came over on Xmas eve and decided she would be a present under the tree!!! How cute is she??

And this is Marshall and Opal with our grandparents on Christmas eve!!! We love it when they come to visit us!!!!....... although Marshall hates the camera!!!!

Happy New Year everybody!!! We have plans to be curled up on the couch with Dad watching football!!!! It is going to be pawsome!!!!

Odds and Ends

There was a flea in the house tonight.....



But we put Opal on the job, and he didn't last very long..... his stuffing on the carpet is all that's left....

We got another new stuffie.... he is a duck with a star-studded helmet and a red cape. Opal and I were very interested in this new stuffie...

How could we not be? He makes such a wonderful noise... but sadly, there is no video to go along with this post because Mom and Dad didn't take any....

Marshall got a new haircut this week too, but he didn't feel like posing for any pictures....but Mom snuck one in while she could

We are having an awesome week so far!!! Hope every pup is having fun out there!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!! We are giving thanks because we will have both Mom and Dad at home during the week and that NEVER happens!!!!

Award and Bark for a Park

We got this lovely award from our friend Petra, (who, btw, is looking oh so cute at her blog with her new collar) and we love it!!!! We love her blog too!!! Thanks so much Petra!!! Maybe one day Mom will teach us (or will learn herself!) how to put this award as a button/badge on the side of our blog so everyone can see it for a long time!!! (are you getting this hint Mom??) We know this award has been around a while and many puppies have probably already gotten it, but we love all the puppies' blogs that we read daily (or as often as mom and dad let us at the computer) so please consider it for all of you!!!

On another note, Marshall cheated on us girls and went to Bark for a Park on Sunday (an event to raise money for a dog park in Birmingham, which we think is a VERY worthy cause since there aren't any) and hung out with two girls that were not his sisters.... and it looks like he had an awesome time!!!

Softball!!!!

Last night we went to our Dad's softball game and we had the BEST time!!!!
See how crazy excited Maggie was???

This is what we did to our leashes while we were watching!!! Mom had to figure everything out as best as she could!!! Hee hee.

But she managed to keep the leashes in check so that we could watch the game!! See how cute Marshall looks.... right after this picture was taken, Marshall hid under the table for the rest of the night!!

We really like going to Dad's softball games!!!! Maybe we will get to go to some more!!!

Oh.My.Dog.We have the BEST day yesterday!!!!!

Saturday was awesome!!! We went to Uncle Chad's house and picked him up and then went over to Granpaw Jim and Grandma Jeanne's house to watch the Alabama game!!! (Mom and Dad are HUGE Bama fans!!!) Opal has a favorite ball at their house (it is called a babble ball but it is broken) (Opal note: just because it is broken does not make that ball any less AWESOME!!) so we made her take a picture with Uncle Chad and her ball!!!

After the game, we were SO HAPPY that BAMA WON!!! Grandma Jeanne took us down below so we could run around!! Mom got video of all us coming up the stairs.... please excuse the one where she was moving around a lot (those who get motion sick might not want to watch!!!) :)

whew!! We had so much fun running around after the game!! We had to take looong nappies after that!!!

We know, we have been slacking!!!

We have been pretty slack about posting lately... we have been to daycare this past week so we have been soooo exhausted when we get home that we haven't posted!!! But this is what we have been doing: hanging in the grass and laying around....

I don't really like to share though......
Besides resting, begging, chewing on toys and daycare, we have been running around and burning some of our energy!!!

We know it has been AGES since we have posted!!! Our Mom was home sick with us a lot this week too, but she looked so miserable that we didn't want to give her a hard time about not lending us the computer!! Besides, we had a job to do (make her feel better), but we are back and have told her we are going to get her up early every time she doesn't let us blog!!! :)
We have some OLD (like two Sundays ago!!!!!) video of us running around and grampaw jim and grammaw jeanne's house that we thought would be fun to put up!! And we are going to make mom and dad take us to do something fun this weekend so we can put up some new video!! Anyway, here is us in the backyard (Maggie not pictured... she was inside stealing treats).

Sunday Dinner!!!!

Mom and Dad took us to Grampaw Jim and Grammaw Jeanne's house for Sunday dinner... they have the BEST yard!!!! Here is a video of me and The Marshman running around with Grandma Jeanne in the back. Ignore the other talking in the background.... unless of course it is talking about us!!!! Sorry the video is kind of long and a little shaky, i blame the camera woman --I'm talking to you Mom since you haven't learned how to properly work the camera by now!!!! :)

p.s. Opal here. I got an award from Gucci that i am really excited about posting onto the site, but unfortunately mom is fussing at me because it is really late and she needs to go to work in the morning and she doesn't like to sleep without me in the bed, so i will try to put it up tomorrow!!!! But i am really excited about it!!!! :)

Update on the past week...

We didn't post very much this week, so we wanted to share what we did......
We finally destroyed the egg baby stuffy (it really didn't take long) and we have stashed some of the squeakers around the house!! Notice it now only has one eye!!!
We also destroyed a few other toys.......


And then we wanted to show off what our Aunt Rene did... she is SUCH an amazing artist!! Mom had her barkday last Saturday and our Aunt made her a leash holder to put on the wall, complete with US on it!!! Doesn't it look amazing??!! And it has our favorite toys in the background!!! Mom said it was the most awesome gift!!!
Also, Mom was very stressed at work so we showed her she could relax because we could take care of protecting the house!
